Wolvington is one of my best memories on my Claw-related history. I was so proud i thought of a way to defeat him all by myself So here's how it happened:
I first started playing Claw at the age of four. It was good fun, we played it together with my brother and my father. The first 2 bosses were quite easy, but at Wolvy we got stuck for around a week. Then, while my bro was fighting him once again (and he was getting his a*s kicked once again) I saw that actually Wolvington has only two attacks that hit you when you have ducked! One is the nasty spell, but he doesn't use it if you are close to him. The other is some kind of kick, but he uses it rarely (it still hurts, though - hits for 30 hp). So here is how u can easily defeat him:
At the begining, shoot with the pistol at him (or use magic). This should buy you time to jump to him. You should land right in front of him. Then, immeditely duck and start slicing him with the sword. He might try his back-jump, if he uses it, stop ducking, shoot with pistol, jump in front of him, and vice verca. When you bring him to the wall it becomes easy as pie (if he doesn't use kick too much).
Sadly, aoon after computer started to make problems so we deleted the game. Just recently (around a week ago) bro found it and installed it. So now we play hard, I've reached 1st checkpoint on Temple, but it is VERY hard. This time i downed Wolvington on my second try He's not that hard, just have to know the tactics.

That's the tactic that I always use on Wolvington!!!

i wanted to open the topic with the exact same subject which i already found
if anyone can give me some advice with Wolvington, i would be happy to accept it, because i just can't defeat him. i played captain claw when i was a kid and i was pretty good at it, i've come to level 14, but now i can't seem to go to a next level because Wolvington is giving me a headache.

So please, can someone tell me, how to defeat him? I've tried with magic claw, and gun, bombs, and sword, but he's just to fast with his shiny deadly green bawls. how, oh, how? Thank you!

He's not too tough, just slow him down with pistol/m claw and jump to him. Duck, slash, and you will either hit him or he will jump back. Repeat until he's dead (you will probably lose some lives anyway - even I lose one or two when i fight him, but at level 6 you should have 9 so it won't hurt so much)

i actually found gabriel tougher than wolvington...but omar is the toughest as for gabriel that's when i started using the codes...until then it was pretty okay..as for wolvington i had to dodge like crazy but he was easier than gabriel

Hi, I am new here, hope I am welcomed.
I found an interesting way to defeat Wolvington( after 3 weeks stucked with him).
step 1: At the begining, jump to him.
step 2: lift him up
step 3: throw him at the wall
step 4: move next to him before he stand up
step 5:duck,wait for him to stand up
step 6:keep slicing him until he's dead( do not stand up)
With this strategy Wolvington becomes the easiest boss in the game, believe me.

I don't know about you guys,but as for me,when I had to kill Wolvington I just hopped near him and attacked with sword an kneel an then stand up attack and again kneel an so on.In other words:when Wolvington gets to fast walk and when he reaches you,he performs that uppercut that Claw can do,so to avoid it you have to kneel [but don't kneel for too long or he'll perform a low attack at you with his own sword (funny as he does hardly ever use it because he uses it only for low attacks wich is weird O_o )]
